Beecher Memorial

The Beecher Memorial Community Development Corporation (BMCDC) was recently founded to serve the needs of one of the City of New Orleans most distressed areas in the 7th ward.  BMCDC’s vision is to be the heart of the 7th Ward. Our mission is to develop programs that promote and sustain affordable housing, economic development, quality health care services, and educational opportunities in the community.  The devastating impact of Hurricane Katrina remains a reality to many of the residents of the 7th Ward who continue to struggle with their quality of life. BMCDC will be a beacon of light for this community.
